The Leadership Challenge

Do you want to be a leader who inspires, empowers and releases potential in your team?
If so, the Log Heights Leadership Challenge has been designed to show you how. This two day programme is based on the Kouzes and Posner Leadership Model and will equip you with the tools to:

• Appreciate the difference between leadership and management
• Discover the key challenges successful leadership brings
• Understand how you lead at the moment and the impact this has on others
• Develop your strengths and address your weaknesses
• Give and receive effective feedback
• Put your new-found knowledge into practice by leading a team in the completion of a project
• Design your own personal leadership development plan
  
  

Above all, you will have a fun, memorable and inspiring experience as we show you how to become a self confident and effective leader through a variety of challenging indoor and outdoor projects, facilitated reviews and feedback sessions – all tailored toyour individual needs and talents!

The programme is held at Ripley Castle, Ripley near Harrogate in North Yorkshire.
Throughout the programme, you will be able to enjoy the beautiful surroundings of this historic building. You will also get the opportunity to try some of the challenges on the largest tree-based ropes course in the country which is based in the arboretum.

Cost: £495 + vat (includes all refreshments, meals and activities. Please note accommodation is not included).

If you are based in the Yorkshire or Humberside region and employ between 5 and 250 people, you might be able to get this course fully funded! Via Train to Gain, the Learning and Skills Council is offering £500 towards leadership training for Managing Directors and owners. It’s quick and easy to obtain but could really make a difference to you and your business. What’s to lose?
