What is your strategy? Or in other words, what is the means by which you will deliver your future?

To begin to answer this you will probably need to consider questions such as, where are we now? Where do we want to be? How will we get there? These questions sound simple enough, but they are the tough questions which challenge the senior teams of organisations to really think. So, what is your organisation's direction, what is your purpose and what are your values? Is there a genuinely shared sense of these things amongst your senior team? How will you know?

Our unique approach with senior strategic teams will benefit both the organisation and individual senior team members, and will enable participants to work on significant key decisions and to learn from each other. The approach we take with you will recognise that your issues are important to your organization, complex systemic organisational issues, and that they are not amenable to off-the-peg solutions.

In order to facilitate this approach, we give teams the responsibilities of learning from their experiences, planning and implementing changes, and addressing unfamiliar issues.   Our approach is based on mature organisational development and adult learning principles:

• Organisational issues are solvable by organisational members who care about the issues and who can offer fresh perspectives and innovative solutions
• Strategy is created by managers working with each other and by reflecting on how they are addressing real issues
• Managers learn when they receive accurate feedback and are able to question the assumptions on which their actions are based

The format of our support will be determined in consultation with you. You will benefit from a dedicated, experienced facilitator who will assist your senior team in creating a suitable forum for discussion based on empowerment of the group, equality among participants, collective intelligence set within a context of collaboration.

Recent projects have included facilitating the development of an overseas charity challenge, helping a senior team restructure their organisation and working on new product development with an R&D team.
